Job summary

Lumos Fiber seeks a Manager – OSP Construction to lead field builds and coordinate with subcontractor teams to expand our fiber network. You will drive safe, on-time execution, handle budgetary controls, and work with internal Lumos groups to engage local officials and communities.

The role requires hybrid onsite work across multiple job sites, with a company vehicle and mobile phone provided. A background in fiber builds and project leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in OSP construction, engineering, or operations fiber builds.
• 2+ years of experience leading techs and contractors in a fiber build environment.
• Proven project management skills; ability to manage multiple milestones to closure.

Responsibilities

• Oversee on-site execution of OSP construction projects, safely and on schedule.
• Coordinate maintenance, repair, and upgrade of OSP facilities with contractors.
• Delegate tasks, track progress, and motivate subcontractor crews.
• Interface with local governments and communities to ensure progress.
• Provide technical leadership and standardize processes across teams.
• Manage CAPEX/OPEX and inventory; ensure budget adherence.
