Job summary

Lumos Fiber is seeking a dynamic Manager – OSP Construction to lead outside plant network builds across markets. You’ll interface with subcontractors, drive safety, schedule, and budget while coordinating with internal teams and local officials to expand our 100% fiber network.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in OSP fiber construction, 2–5 years leading crews, and a strong PM track record. A high school diploma is required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in OSP construction, engineering, or fiber builds.
• 2-5 years leading techs and contractors in a fiber build environment.
• High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Proven project management skills with milestones to completion.

Responsibilities

• Accomplishes market builds safely, on time and within budget.
• Manages scheduling and coordination of OSP maintenance, repair, and upgrades.
• Delegates responsibility and empowers direct reports to design builds and report progress.
• Influences internal and external teams to stay on target.
• Interfaces with local governments and communities with timely responses.
• Keeps stakeholders informed on build progress at all times.
