Job summary

Lumos Fiber is seeking a Manager – OSP Construction to lead outside plant network builds and coordinate with subcontractors and internal teams. You’ll drive safe, on-time completion and manage budgets and resources to expand the fiber network.

You will influence teams, oversee field operations, and maintain strong relationships with local governments and communities while delivering high-quality OSP projects.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience in OSP construction, engineering, or operations fiber builds.
• 2-5 years’ experience leading techs and contractors in a fiber build environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accomplishes assigned market builds safely, on time & within budget.
• Manages scheduling and coordination of maintenance, repair, and upgrade of OSP facilities and surrounding communities.
• Delegates responsibility and empowers direct reports to accomplish market tasks; designs builds, tracks progress, and motivates contractor crews.
• Interfaces with local governments & communities, responds timely & graciously.
• Keeps internal & external stakeholders informed on build progress at all times.
• Provides technical leadership and develops standard processes.
