Job summary

Lumos is seeking a highly experienced Manager – OSP Construction to lead Outside Plant network builds for our fiber rollout. You will interface with subcontractor teams, motivate them to meet critical milestones, and collaborate with Lumos internal teams to maintain strong community and government relationships.

The role combines on-site leadership with a hybrid/remote setup, requiring regular presence on Forsyth, GA jobsites and occasional travel.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in OSP construction, engineering, or operations fiber builds.
• 2+ years of experience leading techs and contractors in a fiber build environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Proven project management skills; able to manage multiple milestones to closure.
• Proactive, independent, and able to take initiative to stay on task.
• Active, fully unencumbered driver’s license.
• Fiber or Telecom industry experience is essential.

Responsibilities

• Accomplishes assigned market builds safely, on time & within budget.
• Manages scheduling and coordination of maintenance, repair, and upgrade of OSP facilities.
• Delegates responsibility and empowers direct reports to accomplish market tasks.
• Interfaces with local governments & communities and responds timely.
• Keeps internal and external stakeholders informed on build progress.
