Job summary

Lumos Fiber is seeking a Manager – OSP Construction to lead outside plant network builds across Forsyth County, GA. You will supervise subcontractor teams, ensure safety, on-time delivery, and adherence to budget while collaborating with internal Lumos teams and local officials.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in OSP construction or fiber builds, 2-5 years leading crews, and a strong drive to improve processes. A high school diploma is required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in OSP construction, engineering, or operations fiber builds.
• 2-5 years leading techs and contractors in a fiber build environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accomplishes assigned market builds safely, on time & within budget.
• Manages scheduling and coordination of maintenance, repair, and upgrade of OSP facilities and community interactions.
• Delegates responsibility and empowers direct reports to design builds, track progress, and motivate crews.
• Influences internal and external teams to stay on target and committed to progress.
• Interfaces with local governments and communities, responding timely and graciously.
• Keeps stakeholders informed on build progress at all times.
• Provides technical leadership and improves processes with subcontractor teams.
• Manages CAPEX, OPEX, and inventory tracking; approves expenses.
