Job summary

Roadrunner Transportation Systems Inc is seeking an OS&D Technician in Mira Loma, CA, to resolve lost or missing freight quickly and accurately, protecting customer trust and efficiency.

The role focuses on end-to-end OS&D resolution, dock control, documentation accuracy, and cross-functional communication to minimize dwell time and improve performance. A strong background in freight operations and solid math skills are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years OS&D, freight operations, or customer service experience required.
• Experience with freight handling or logistics environments preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Intermediate computer proficiency: email, databases, MS Office.
• Familiarity with AS/400 systems preferred.
• Solid math aptitude and data interpretation.
• Organizational skills with multi-tasking ability.

Responsibilities

• Own OS&D resolution end-to-end; contact for inquiries from shippers and internal stakeholders.
• Investigate and resolve lost/missing freight through dock checks and data review.
• Determine disposition actions in coordination with shippers.
• Oversee handling and organization of OS&D freight within the service center.
• Ensure OS&D freight is identified, tracked, and dispositioned; reduce dwell time.
• Complete OS&D documentation accurately and support billing and claims.
