Job summary

Roadrunner Transportation Systems Inc is seeking an OS&D Technician in Milwaukee, WI. The role focuses on resolving lost, damaged, or unaccounted freight with precise documentation to support claims, billing, and performance metrics.

You will partner with dock teams and customers to close gaps and protect service reliability. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in OS&D or freight operations, strong communication skills, and solid data-entry ability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of OS&D, freight operations, or customer service experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of LTL, freight handling, or logistics environments preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Own OS&D resolution end-to-end and act as primary contact for OS&D inquiries.
• Maintain operational control on the dock and ensure proper identification, staging, and tracking of OS&D freight.
• Execute documentation and systems accuracy across internal platforms, databases, and MS Office tools.
• Communicate across the network with customers, terminals, service centers, and corporate teams to resolve exceptions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying recurring issues and helping optimize OS&D processes.
