Job summary

Savista, LLC seeks a Pro Fee Coder to review clinical documentation and assign ICD-10 and CPT/HCPCS codes for hospital and physician-based billing. You will validate APC calculations, ensure accurate data abstraction, and maintain HIPAA-compliant confidentiality across client engagements.

The role requires credentials (AHIMA or AAPC) and at least two years of hands-on coding experience, with proficiency in MS Office and strong communication across levels.

Qualifications

• Pass pre-employment skills assessment.
• Active AHIMA or AAPC credential required.
• Two years of recent coding experience.
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT/HCPCS code sets; anatomy, physiology, pharmacology.

Responsibilities

• Select and sequence ICD-10 and CPT/HCPCS codes for designated patient types.
• Review facility records to ensure APC assignments reflect diagnoses/procedures.
• Abstract clinical data to support diagnoses and discharge disposition.
• Complete assigned work functions utilizing resources.
• Assist client staff with data integrity and compliant coding practices.
