Qualifications

• Active professional coding credential (AHIMA or AAPC).

• Excellent communication with clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Select and sequence ICD-10, CPT/HCPCS codes for diverse patient types.
• Review facility records to ensure accurate APC and E/M coding.
• Abstract clinical data to support diagnoses and procedures.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality in all activities.
• Collaborate with client staff and Savista teams as needed.
• Keep current with ICD-10, CPT/HCPCS and coding guidelines.
