Responsibilities

• Select and sequence ICD-10 and CPT/HCPCS codes for designated patient types.
• Review facility records to ensure accurate APC/evaluation and management codes.
• Abstract clinical data from records to support diagnoses and procedures.
• Maintain patient/provider confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines.
• Participate in client meetings, trainings, and conference calls as requested.
• Stay current with ICD-10, CPT/HCPCS, and coding guidelines.
