Job summary

Savista, LLC seeks a Pro Fee Coder II to review clinical documentation and assign ICD-10/CPT/HCPCS codes for hospital and physician billing. You will validate APC calculations and interact with client staff while ensuring confidentiality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Pre-employment skills assessment required.
• Active AHIMA credential (RHIA/RHIT/CCS/CCA) expected.
• Active AAPC credential (COC/CCS-P/CPC) preferred.
• Two years of hands-on profee coding in multispecialty settings.
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT/HCPCS coding systems.

Responsibilities

• Select and sequence ICD-10 and CPT/HCPCS codes for designated patient types.
• Review facility records to ensure APC assignments reflect diagnoses/procedures.
• Abstract clinical data to support diagnoses, procedures and discharge disposition.
• Maintain data integrity and assist client staff with coding guidance.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and comply with regulations.
