Texas Orthopedics, South Austin Clinic, seeks a Clinical Navigator - MA & Surgery Scheduler to support physicians during visits, schedule surgeries, obtain authorizations, and guide patients through recovery. Expect in-clinic and travel between locations as needed.

The ideal candidate has CMA certification or MA training, at least two years in healthcare, and strong communication and organizational skills to ensure efficient, patient-focused care.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program preferred.
• Minimum two years in a healthcare setting, preferably orthopedics.
• Two years of surgery scheduling experience preferred.
• Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA) preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Mansioni

• Assist physicians with patient care during clinic visits and scheduling procedures.
• Obtain prior authorizations and insurance clearances.
• Conduct postoperative follow-up calls to monitor recovery and reinforce care instructions.
• Assist with casting, bracing, and DME as needed; prepare exam rooms and assist with minor procedures.
