Texas Orthopedics is seeking a Clinical Navigator to support physicians during clinic visits and coordinate care outside of visits in the South & Northeast Austin area. You will assist with injections, vital signs, documentation, and scheduling, ensuring smooth patient flow and a concierge-level experience.

Responsibilities include managing authorizations, arranging surgeries and imaging, and performing post-operative follow-up calls to monitor recovery and reinforce care instructions.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program preferred.
• Minimum two years in a healthcare setting, preferably orthopedics.
• Two years of surgery scheduling experience preferred.
• Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA) preferred.

Responsabilidades

• In-Clinic Support: assist physicians with patient care, prepare injections, take vitals, complete H&P, and assist with dressings.
• Apply casts, splints, and DME in coordination with Cast/Orthopedic Technician where applicable.
• Document all patient-related communication and treatment in EMR; assist with coding of encounter forms.
• Coordinate care: schedule surgeries, imaging, and therapy appointments; obtain authorizations and clearances.
• Conduct postoperative follow-up calls to assess recovery and address concerns.
• Travel to other clinic locations as needed; provide coverage for peers.
