Job summary

Qualifications

• BLS required (American Heart Association).
• Graduate of NBSTSA certified Surgical Technologist program.

Responsibilities

• Scrub on all surgical procedures in the Operating Room under licensed supervision.
• Assist the physician in procedural areas as a secondary circulator.
• Gather supplies and equipment per procedure card and notify RN Circulator of needs.
• Maintain knowledge of instrument care and maintenance.
• Report unexpected events to RN staff in a timely manner.
• Provide on-call coverage where applicable.
