NYU Langone Orthopedic Hospital in New York City is seeking a Surgical Technologist in Orthopedic Surgery for evening shifts (LOH). Under the direction of a licensed nurse, you will scrub in on all surgical procedures in the Operating Room and assist physicians in procedural areas.

Minimum qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent, BLS, graduation from an NBSTSA-accredited Surgical Technologist program, and certification upon hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association).
• Graduate of NBSTSA-accredited Surgical Technologist program; certification required upon hire.

Responsabilités

• Scrub on all surgical procedures in the Operating Room.
• Assist physician in procedural areas under RN supervision.
• Prepare and gather supplies/equipment as per procedure card.
• Report events and maintain aseptic technique.
