Job summary

Smith+Nephew is seeking an experienced orthopedic sales professional to take ownership of the Rochester territory, driving quota attainment and expanding the portfolio across reconstruction, robotics, trauma, and sports medicine. You will build trusted relationships with surgeons, OR teams, and health system stakeholders while providing clinical support in the operating room.

The role requires five or more years in orthopedic device sales, a proven track record of territory growth, and

Qualifications

• Five or more years of orthopedic medical device sales experience in hospital, OR, or ASC settings.
• Proven record of quota attainment and territory growth.
• Ability to work with surgeons, clinical teams, value analysis committees, supply chain partners, and health system stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory, including occasional overnight travel.
• Ability to lift instrument and implant sets of approximately 20 pounds, in surgical environments.

Responsibilities

• Own Rochester territory with quota achievement, forecasting, pricing strategy, and territory growth.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Expand portfolio adoption and case volume within existing accounts.
• Build relationships with surgeons, operating room teams, service line leadership, and health system stakeholders; provide in-room support and education.
