Job summary

Johnson & Johnson's DePuy Synthes Orthopaedics team is seeking a Clinical Sales Specialist for the Altoona, PA territory to advance surgical device sales in hospitals and OR settings.

The role requires clinical and logistical support to surgeons, travel across the territory, and independent judgment to ensure equipment availability and workflow efficiency. A bachelor's or appropriate medical certification plus experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• Associate degree or medical certification plus experience considered.
• 4+ years of relevant professional experience or recent military transition.

Responsibilities

• Independently guide surgeons in the OR with clinical and technical support.
• Advance DPS sales by providing direct customer support during surgeries.
• Troubleshoot and manage hospital billing and purchase orders.
• Share insights with sales, clinical, marketing and strategic account teams.
• Provide Operating Room and Sterile Processing Department consultation.
• Maintain equipment and asset deployment across the assigned area.

Education

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

Associate Degree or Medical Certification (CST, PT, etc.)

4+ years of professional/relevant experience

Military transition experience (recently)
