Job summary

Johnson & Johnson's DePuy Synthes seeks a Regional Clinical Sales Specialist to support hospitals in the New York Metropolitan area. You will guide surgeons in the OR, delivering clinical and technical expertise for orthopedic cases and ensuring right implants and instruments are available and functioning.

This role requires strong communication, data analysis, and problem-solving skills, with travel to assigned facilities and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent level of education; multiple qualification options listed in the posting.
• 2+ years of relevant experience for some tracks; travel and military transition noted.
• Ability to work in a lab/operating room environment and travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Independently guide and assist surgeons in the operating room by providing clinical and technical support of orthopedic surgical cases.
• Advance DPS sales by serving as sole Company representative to provide direct customer support by attending surgeries and assuring that the proper equipment is available and functioning.
• Troubleshoot and respond to physician needs; address customer requests; manage hospital billing and purchase orders.
• Share insights with sales, clinical, marketing, and accounts teams; prepare sales reports and documents.
• Provide OR and Sterile Processing Department consultation.
• Maintain deployment of equipment/assets; ensure product availability.
• Ensure promotional materials meet quality standards and align with DePuy Synthes offerings.
• Provide logistical support by moving instruments, implants, and equipment between hospitals.
