Job summary

Johnson & Johnson’s DePuy Synthes unit seeks a Clinical Sales Specialist to support the Altoona, PA territory. You will guide surgeons in the operating room, ensure the proper equipment is available, and provide clinical and logistical expertise in hospitals and ORs.

Qualified candidates have a Bachelor’s or equivalent, or an Associate Degree/medical cert with relevant experience, plus 4+ years in healthcare or medical devices. Travel and a US driver’s license required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher required; clinical or healthcare background preferred.
• Associate Degree or Medical Certification (CST, PT, etc.) with relevant experience acceptable.
• Minimum 4 years of professional or relevant experience in sales/medical devices or healthcare.
• Recent transition from Active Military Duty considered.
• Must have valid US driver’s license and ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Independently guide and assist surgeons in the operating room with orthopedic cases.
• Advance sales by representing DPS products in surgeries and ensuring proper equipment is available.
• Troubleshoot and respond to physician requests; manage hospital billing and purchase orders.
• Share market and customer insights with sales, clinical, marketing, and account teams; prepare reports.
• Provide OR and Sterile Processing Department consultation; deploy and track equipment.
