Vanderbilt Orthopaedics at Vanderbilt Health seeks an Associate Patient Service Specialist to support scheduling, registration, and coordination across multiple services and facilities. You will navigate patients before, during, and after appointments, using the patient portal and clinical systems to ensure smooth workflows.

In this role, you will handle appointment coordination, information accuracy, and effective communication with patients and care teams.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Healthcare administrative experience is a plus.

Mansioni

• Schedules appointments and procedures through clinical communication, work queues, and patient portal messages.
• Manages registration and patient work queues.
• Coordinates with patients and/or outside facilities to ensure pre-appointment orders and consults are ready to view prior to visit.
• Communicates with patients through the patient portal to route appropriately as needed.
• Performs all Associate Patient Service Specialist responsibilities.
• Additional duties may be assigned.
