Job summary

Johnson & Johnson’s DePuy Synthes orthopaedics division seeks a Sales Associate to support in the Memphis territory. You will assist surgeons in the operating room, provide clinical and product knowledge, and help ensure the right equipment is available for procedures.

Ideal candidates will have a relevant degree or medical certification, strong communication, and willingness to travel. You may engage in commission-based sales and build relationships with hospitals and surgeons.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Associate Degree or Medical Certification (CST, PT, etc.) + minimum of 2 years of professional and/or related experience or
• Minimum of 4 years of professional and/or related experience or
• Recently transitioned from Active Military Duty
• The ability to work in a lab/operating room environment.
• A valid driver's license issued in the United States
• The ability to travel which may include weekend and/or overnight travel.
• Residence in or willingness to relocate to the posted territory.

Responsibilities

• Assist DePuy Synthes sales organization in retaining and supporting further penetration with existing customers, while supporting product conversions with new customers.
• Guide and assist surgeons in the operating room through their clinical and product knowledge.
• Use product knowledge to present, demonstrate, and ensure proper utilization of DePuy Synthes products.
• Support customers by attending surgeries, assuring that the proper equipment is available and performing.
• Troubleshoot and provide other technical assistance; handle customer requests, effectively manage hospital billing, create/close purchase orders.
• Share key customer, procedural and marketplace insights with other teams to improve solutions.
• Maintenance, tracking and deployment of equipment and assets.
• Focus on customer satisfaction and retention; differentiate DPS's products with unique insights.
