Job summary

OAKPOINT Orthodontics in Raleigh, NC seeks an Orthodontic Patient Coordinator who thrives on building rapport by phone, handles high-volume inquiries, and guides patients through their first steps toward treatment with warmth and clarity. You will manage incoming leads, schedule consultations, verify insurance, and ensure a smooth new patient experience.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year experience in dental/orthodontic office.
• Call center or phone-based customer service preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with PracticeBeacon or similar CRM (training provided).
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, able to multitask in fast-paced env.
• Positive, patient-centered approach and knowledge of orthodontic terminology a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answer high-volume inbound calls with professionalism and warmth using scripts.
• Make outbound calls to follow up with leads and confirm appointments.
• Respond to web inquiries and referrals; build rapport with prospective patients.
