Job summary

Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry in Raleigh, NC seeks a Patient Coordinator to greet patients, manage check-in/out, and secure the next visit. You will explain insurance benefits, discuss treatment plans, and help patients move forward with care.

This in‑person role requires reliability, a positive attitude, strong communication, and teamwork. You’ll handle scheduling, recalls, and HIPAA compliance while delivering friendly, professional service every shift.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years of dental front office experience
• Experience verifying dental insurance and explaining benefits to patients
• Experience presenting treatment plans and collecting patient payments
• Experience scheduling and confirming appointments and managing a provider schedule
• Working knowledge of dental terminology and procedure codes
• Denticon practice management software is a plus
• Strong phone, computer, and typing skills
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and manage check-in/out efficiently
• Answer phones promptly and convert new patient calls into appointments
• Build and protect the schedule: fill openings and recalls
• Confirm upcoming appointments by phone and text to reduce no-shows
• Make sure every patient leaves with their next appointment scheduled
• Coordinate with the clinical team so handoffs are smooth and nothing falls through the cracks
