Job summary

Stryker Corporation in Cincinnati, OH is offering a Field-based Intern position in Ortho Sales. You will shadow Sales Associates and Operations, develop sales projects, and learn selling techniques with guidance from experienced teams.

Travel will be around 40% with a mix of field work and in-office activities. The role includes a $20–$35 hourly wage, sign-on bonus, and housing stipend or corporate housing depending on location.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor's degree in related field; plan to enroll after summer.
• Cumulative GPA 3.0+ preferred.
• Must be U.S. permanent resident or citizen.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Versatility and willingness to adapt to changing priorities.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment.
• Proficient in basic computer programs: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Proven leadership and business acumen.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Shadow Sales Associates, Sales Representatives, and Operations Team Members to gain insight into the branch; prepare a sales presentation.
• Develop a project segment to target accounts or marketing potential/strategy.
• Learn selling skills and instrument use techniques with coaching from Sales team.
• Shadow and assist Team Members in delivering kits to accounts.
• Assist in warehouse tasks and preparing products for surgery.
• Interact with cross-functional teams concerning products.
• Support Sales and Field Operations on special projects as assigned.
