Job summary

Stryker Corporation in Fremont, CA is offering a Field-based Intern in Ortho Sales. You will shadow Sales Associates and Operations, prepare account lists, and learn selling skills with coaching. You will travel about 40% to customer sites.

You must be pursuing a related bachelor's degree with at least a 3.0 GPA, be a US resident or citizen, and be proficient in MS Excel/Word/PowerPoint. Stryker provides a sign-on bonus, housing stipend or corporate housing, 11 holidays, and a strong culture.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a related field with plans to enroll after the summer.
• Cumulative GPA 3.0+ preferred.
• Must be a U.S. permanent resident or citizen.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
• Able to adapt to changing priorities with enthusiasm.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Shadow Sales Associates, Sales Representatives, and Operations Team Members to learn the branch.
• Prepare a project segment to develop a target account list or strategy.
• Learn selling skills and instrument use techniques with coaching from team.
• Shadow and assist Team Members delivering kits to accounts.
• Assist in warehouse tasks: assembling and breaking down instrument kits.
• Interact with various teams about the products.
• Assist Sales and Field Operations on special projects.
