Job summary

Smith+ Nephew in Vermont is seeking a Reconstruction Sales Representative to advance orthopedic care across the territory. You will act as a technical consultant for the Orthopedic Reconstruction portfolio, focusing on total joint reconstruction and helping surgeons and hospitals improve patient outcomes.

Travel will be required with 2–4 overnight stays per month; credentialing with healthcare facilities is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years medical device sales experience, preferably within orthopedics.
• Demonstrated success selling to surgeons and hospital stakeholders.
• Strong relationship-building skills with surgeons, KOLs and hospital stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage a territory strategically.
• Experience mentoring or supporting other sales professionals is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as technical consultant for Orthopedic Reconstruction portfolio, focusing on total joint reconstruction.
• Convert new and existing accounts via sales calls, in-service support and OR case coverage.
• Train and educate surgeons and clinical teams on Smith+ Nephew products, technologies and programs.
• Build strong partnerships with orthopedic and podiatric surgeons, hospitals, OR staff, SPD teams and administrators.
• Drive adoption of innovative solutions including the CORI robotic surgical and navigation system.
• Develop and execute a territory business plan to grow revenue and meet or exceed sales targets.
• Collaborate cross divisionally with Reconstruction and Sports Medicine partners to uncover growth opportunities.
