Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital in Dover, Ohio, invites you to join a compassionate team delivering exceptional patient care. This full-time role focuses on welcoming patients, registration, triage, insurance verification and coordinating appointments to support smooth visits.

You will work 7:30am–4:30pm or 8:00am–5:00pm, use MyChart and Appointment Pass, and help patients navigate care with a friendly, patient-first approach in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 2 years in patient registration or customer service.
• OR an Associate’s Degree with 1 year of experience.
• OR a Bachelor’s Degree.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, proactive, and “Patients First” experience for patients and visitors.
• Investigate, triage and resolve patient issues using HEART model.
• Create a welcome and professional environment, interact with patients and ensure stellar patient experiences.
• Perform patient registration, visit preparation, telephone triage, insurance verification, co-pay collection, patient and record tracking, scheduling, arrival/departure desk activities and interpreter services scheduling.
• Enter and maintain confidential patient information.
• Recruit, enroll and educate patients on MyChart and Appointment Pass.
