Job summary

Alliance Orthopedics, a regional orthopedic practice, seeks a Clinical Coordinator to support administrative and clinical functions at the East Brunswick clinic. You will liaison between patients and providers, manage records, and help coordinate care plans.

This role emphasizes organization, accuracy, and HIPAA compliance in a fast-paced environment. The position collaborates with physicians, therapists, and staff to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care across nine New Jersey

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (preferred)
• Prior experience in a clinical or administrative role within an orthopedic setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with medical records management, including electronic health record systems is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing day-to-day operations of the orthopedic clinic, including patient intake and medical record maintenance.
• Serve as liaison between patients, providers, and departments to facilitate seamless communication and collaboration.
• Manage and maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories, test results, and treatment plans, in compliance with privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
• Prepare and organize patient charts, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and available for healthcare providers.
• Navigate EMR (CareCloud) and assist with patient notes, infrequent medical billing.
• Coordinate with external facilities, such as imaging centers and physical therapy clinics.
