Job summary

Motion Industries is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Nitro, WV, to accurately fulfill customer orders and handle calls. You will provide product quotes, enter orders, and negotiate pricing within set parameters to help maximize gross profit.

Responsibilities include maintaining appropriate inventory levels, selecting cost-effective shipping methods, collaborating with Account Representatives, expediting backorders, and processing returns as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0–3 years of related experience or equivalent combination.
• Reliability, organization, and attention to detail required.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Respond to basic customer inquiries regarding products, provide quotes and handle order entry.
• Place customer orders via telephone, fax, email, electronic methods, or walk-in.
• Negotiate sale price and purchase price within parameters to influence gross profit.
• Build customer relationships to drive repeat business and drive process improvements.
• Ensure inventory levels are maintained by ordering items as needed for customers.
• Determine cost-effective shipping methods for customer orders and expedite backorders.
• Collaborate with Account Representatives to ensure customer satisfaction and assist with returns when needed.
