Job summary

Advanced-Machine- in Rockford, IL, is seeking a Customer Operations Specialist to own day-to-day order management from receipt of POs to shipment. You will serve as the main liaison between customers and internal teams, ensuring orders translate accurately into the ERP system and are fulfilled promptly.

The ideal candidate has strong order-management and customer-service skills, can multitask across priorities, and takes initiative with limited supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Experience in customer service, order management or sales support preferred.
• ERP or manufacturing systems experience preferred; Global Shop helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Process customer purchase orders accurately and provide timely confirmations.
• Serve as primary contact for customers from PO receipt through shipment.
• Release work orders in ERP to fulfill customer requirements.
• Review drawings and maintain BOMs in ERP.
• Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Operations, and Shipping to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Monitor order statuses and expedite as needed.
