Job summary

Tree Top Staffing LLC is seeking a Customer Operations Coordinator in Rockford, IL to manage day-to-day customer orders from PO receipt through shipment. This role links customers with Sales, Engineering, Operations, and Shipping to ensure orders are entered accurately and fulfilled promptly.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with strong customer service, order-management, and cross-functional communication skills. ERP experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree or related coursework preferred.
• Experience with ERP or manufacturing systems preferred.
• Global Shop experience beneficial.
• Previous manufacturing or customer operations experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process customer purchase orders accurately; provide confirmations.
• Serve as primary contact from PO receipt to shipment.
• Respond to customer questions and order-status inquiries promptly.
• Release and maintain work orders in the ERP system.
• Review drawings and create/maintain BOMs as provided by Engineering.
• Coordinate with multiple departments to ensure on-time fulfillment.
• Proactively identify issues and escalate when needed.
• Manage multiple orders and priorities with accuracy.
