Job summary

Motion Industries is seeking a Customer Service Representative to accurately fulfill customer orders and handle incoming calls. Under close supervision, you will quote products, place orders, and assist customers while contributing to branch profitability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 0–3 years related experience.
• Strong communication, written and verbal, with good listening.
• Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
• Moderate computer skills and use of business systems.
• Product knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responds to basic customer inquiries regarding products, provides quotes, and handles order entry.
• Places customer orders via telephone, fax, email, electronic methods, or walk-in (counter sales).
• Influences gross profit by negotiating sale and purchase prices within parameters.
• May adjust non-contract pricing to meet customer needs while maximizing profit.
• Builds customer relationships to drive repeat business and process improvements.
• Maintains appropriate inventory levels to satisfy customer demand.
