Job summary

Motion Industries (MOT) is seeking a Customer Service Representative who will, under close supervision, accurately fulfill customer orders and handle incoming calls.

You will respond to product inquiries, provide quotes, enter orders by phone, fax, email, or walk-in, negotiate prices within parameters to support gross profit, manage inventory levels, arrange shipping, process returns, and collaborate with Account Representatives to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 0–3 years related experience.
• Reliable, organized, detail-oriented; strong communication.
• Ability to multi-task and manage time.
• Moderate computer skills and use of business systems.

Responsibilities

• Respond to basic customer inquiries and provide quotes.
• Handle order entry and place orders by phone, fax, email, or walk-in.
• Negotiate prices within parameters to influence gross profit.
• Build customer relationships to drive repeat business and support process improvements.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels and source products as needed.
