Job summary

Motion Industries is seeking a Customer Service Representative to accurately fulfill customer orders and manage incoming calls. The role focuses on providing quotes, placing orders, and ensuring timely shipment from branch or distribution centers.

You will work with Account Representatives to optimize pricing, freight choices, and service levels while maintaining strong customer relationships for repeat business.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED and 0–3 years of related experience.
• Proficient in basic computer skills and internal/external communication.
• Product knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responds to basic customer inquiries regarding products, provides quotes, and handles order entry.
• Places customer orders via telephone, fax, email, electronic methods, or walk in (counter sales).
• Determines the most cost effective shipping method for customer orders.
• Partners with Account Representatives to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Expedites backorders and may pull inventory for shipment to customer.
• May handle customer returns.
