Job summary

Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) is seeking an HR Analyst to drive HRIS initiatives, optimize Oracle HCM modules, and deliver data-driven insights. You will partner with HR, IT, and vendors to translate business needs into technical solutions and ensure governance across payroll, benefits, and talent management.

You will document processes, conduct requirements elicitation, and support BI reporting using Power BI.

Qualifications

BS/BA with 5 years HRIS experience with Oracle HCM OR MS/MA with 3 years HRIS experience with Oracle HCM
Preferred: degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, HR Management, Business Administration, or related field
Experience identifying business requirements, formulating solutions, defining and reviewing configurations, and testing with Oracle HCM
Experience in process modeling and design, organizational development, operational and business support, or related field
Experience with business intelligence reports, dashboards, and applications using Microsoft Power BI
Experience implementing modern technologies to replace aging legacy systems
Excellent communication skills, facilitation skills, and experience with change management
Experience preparing return-on-investment analyses
An understanding of policies, standards, management systems and procedures
Experience serving as a Product Manager in an agile/scrum software development and improvement environment

Responsibilities

Translate business objectives into technical requirements for HRIS
Manage multiple HRIS projects (Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, Recruiting, Talent Management, etc.)
Communicate updates to HR, IT and management; coordinate with vendors
Document HR processes using diagrams, data models, state transition models
Lead Oracle HCM implementation, configuration, testing, deployment, ongoing updates
Identify process interfaces, gaps and opportunities for improvement
Monitor and measure HR data and process performance
Develop roadmaps and business cases for HR solutions
Serve as liaison between business stakeholders and solution providers
Assist with people change management and stakeholder relationships
Contribute to HR strategic planning with system health and integration insights
