Job summary

Motorola Solutions seeks a Business Analyst focused on Oracle CPQ to bridge business stakeholders and engineering teams. You will gather requirements, define scope, and translate them into detailed CPQ specifications, influencing product configurations and orderability across supply chain and sales processes.

You will partner with product, sales, engineering, and factory teams to validate requirements, simplify BOMs and catalog structures, and design test plans to ensure defect-free CPQ

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum 1-3 years of strong experience in a Business Analyst role gathering requirements, defining scope, and creating functional specifications for Oracle CPQ.

Responsibilities

• Bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical execution teams; gather, analyze and transform complex product requirements into robust configuration solutions within Oracle CPQ.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (Product Owners, Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Factory teams) to define product scope and translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications for Oracle CPQ.
• Ensure Oracle CPQ configurations are defect-free, orderable, and adhere to established standards for Orderability UX.
• Reduce ordering complexity by simplifying Bills of Materials (BOMs), rule logic, and offering structures; drive SKU reduction and catalog simplification.
• Collaborate with developers to clarify business requirements, answer functional queries, and perform validation/testing post-development; verify configuration rules with factory and supply chain teams to ensure smooth Sales Orders processing.
• Design test plans, scenarios, and scripts to verify BOMs and configuration rule changes; operate in an Agile environment to deliver ERP/CRM implementations.
• Possess programming and querying knowledge (SQL, PL/SQL, or scripting languages such as Google Apps Script, BML, or Python).
• Experience with Oracle Enterprise Applications (Oracle EBS, Oracle PLM, or Oracle CPQ Admin features) is preferred.
