Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Product Orderability Business Analyst to bridge business and technical teams. You’ll gather requirements, define configurations in Oracle CPQ, and partner with Sales, Engineering and Supply Chain to simplify BOMs and ensure orderability.

You will design tests, validate changes, and contribute to agile ERP/CRM implementations, leveraging SQL/PL/SQL and scripting skills to accelerate workflows.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-3 years of strong experience in a Business Analyst role gathering requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience with Oracle CPQ / Oracle ERP preferred.
• Ability to translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications.
• Familiarity with Agile vs Waterfall software development methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Gathering, analyzing, and transforming complex product requirements into robust configuration solutions within Oracle CPQ.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (Product Owners, Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Factory teams) to define product scope and translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications.
• Ensure product configurations in Oracle CPQ are defect-free, orderable, and adhere to established standards for Orderability UX.
• Reduce ordering complexity by simplifying Bills of Materials (BOMs), rule logic, and offering structures with Product Management and Engineering.
• Design test plans, scenarios, and scripts to verify BOMs and configuration rule changes.
• Operate within an Agile team to gather and analyze requirements while delivering ERP/CRM implementations.
