DMC Harper University Hospital in Detroit seeks a skilled Material Management professional to oversee OR materials purchasing, receiving and inventory control. You will coordinate repairs, monitor usage and help ensure accurate stock levels for surgical suites.

This role requires strong organizational and interpersonal skills, plus experience in inventory systems and budget awareness. Apply for a full-time, day-shift position in a dynamic hospital setting.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's degree in Science or Business preferred.
• Three to five years progressively more responsible OR technician experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Oversees daily activities of personnel who maintain the purchase and distribution of OR materials, supplies, equipment and special purchases.
• Coordinates repair and replacement of defective equipment; monitors usage and storage of supplies; assists in identifying quantity and quality for OR purchases.
• Acts as liaison to purchasing, central supply department and OR with respect to inventory control.
• Orders, receives and checks in surgical instruments and equipment and supplies; ensures proper authorization and complete orders.
• Monitors sterilization procedures, equipment safety checks, and recalls; maintains records for equipment and supplies.
