Job summary

Yale NewHaven Health is seeking an OR Materials Management Supply Coordinator to oversee the inventory, ordering, receipt, stocking, and processing of medical/surgical supplies for the Operating Room. You will maintain records, coordinate with OR staff, and support scheduled surgeries with timely supply availability.

Responsibilities include daily inventory duties, PAR level optimization in QSight and related systems, plus vendor coordination to ensure accurate stock levels.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years working with Operating Room Medical/Surgical Supplies in an OR, CSS or Materials Management capacity.
• Experience with purchasing, accounts payable, and patient billing is preferred.
• Familiar with inventory, ordering, receipt and stocking, review of usage report data and development of appropriate PAR levels.
• Experience with QSIGHT, EPIC, QSIGHT and Lawson applications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily inventory duties; ordering and receiving supplies to ensure product availability and proper stock rotation.
• Reviews OR schedule and collaborates with OR staff to process special order requests.
• Maintains accurate inventory records and sets up consignment/parcel status in QSIGHT.
• Executes procurement and loaning of supplies for surgeries and coordinates with vendors.
• Ensures compliance with Environment of Care and vendor policy.
