Job summary

MedStar Georgetown University Hospital is seeking a Procedural Area Materials Technician to join the OR Supply Chain Services team. The role is full-time, Monday through Friday, 5am to 1:30pm.

Receives, inspects, stores, delivers and issues materials; maintains inventory levels; coordinates replenishments and recalls; ensures accurate distribution for OR/ SPD operations. Requires a high school diploma and at least 6 months related experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• 6 months related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receives, inspects, stores, and issues materials for OR and SPD.
• Maintains inventory levels and par levels; performs shelf audits.
• Coordinates replenishments and recalls; routes incoming goods.
• Ensures accurate shipment verification against orders.
• Works with multidisciplinary teams to support OR operations.
