Job summary

Qualifications

• HS diploma, GED or 1-5 years of equivalent related job experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers; schedule appointments per guidelines.
• Answer phones, check patients in/out, collect payments and front desk tasks.
• Verify insurance coverage and maintain accurate patient records.
• Perform preliminary testing data collection under supervision.
• Call for insurance preauthorization and follow up on authorizations.
• Maintain reception area and discuss promotions/discounts with customers.
• Keep Doctor Referral log for medical patients and update pricing clues.
