Job summary

MyEyeDr. is seeking an Optometric Technician to provide direct support to our Doctors of Optometry, preparing patients for visits with preliminary testing and measurements. Training will be provided, no prior optical experience required, and weekend/evening shifts may be required to meet patient needs.

You will work under the Office General Manager and directly support our Doctor(s), helping deliver a best-in-class vision care experience to our patients.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to explain procedures to patients.

Responsibilities

• Consult with patients, document medical history, and prep for Optometrist exam.
• Maintain smooth flow of patients to the Doctor and staff.
• Ensure patient comfort during procedures.
• Learn to operate pretest equipment for visual screening.
• Conduct contact lens training where applicable.
• Collaborate with doctors and team for a seamless patient experience.
