MyEyeDr. is seeking an Optometric Technician to support Doctors of Optometry with prep work, preliminary testing, and patient comfort before exams. Training will be provided to learn pretest equipment and visual screenings to ensure a smooth patient flow.

The role emphasizes collaboration with the doctor and team to deliver a best-in-class patient experience, with some weekend/evening shifts required as part of a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Comfort with patients during screening and testing.
• Detail-oriented with ability to document medical history accurately.
• Willingness to learn about optometry equipment and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Consult with patients and document medical history to prepare for exams.
• Maintain smooth flow of patients between staff and doctors.
• Orient patients to procedures and ensure comfort during visits.
• Learn to operate pretest equipment for visual screenings.
• Conduct contact lens training for applicable patients.
• Collaborate with doctors and team for seamless patient care.
