MyEyeDr. is seeking an Optometric Technician to support Doctors of Optometry by preparing patients for visits, conducting preliminary testing, and measuring essential data. Training is provided, no optical experience is required, with weekend/evening shifts possible.

You will assist with patient flow, comfort during procedures, and collaboration with the clinical team to deliver a best-in-class vision-care experience.

Formación

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Personable, patient, and able to comfort patients during screening process.
• Willingness to learn about the optical industry; training will be provided.

Responsabilidades

• Consult with patients, document medical history, and prep for exam.
• Maintain smooth flow of patients to the Doctor and staff during appointments.
• Ensure patients are comfortable with office procedures.
• Learn to use pretest equipment to perform visual screenings.
• Conduct contact lens training for applicable patients and other preliminary testing.
• Collaborate with doctors and team to provide a seamless patient experience.
