Job summary

MyEyeDr. in Huntsville, OH is seeking an Optometric Technician to support Doctors of Optometry with patient preparation for exams, including preliminary testing. Training will be provided for pretest equipment and visual screenings.

The role requires a personable, patient, detail-oriented team player willing to learn about the industry and services, with occasional weekend/evening shifts and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Personable and patient with patients.
• Detail oriented; works with optometrist.
• Training provided if no optical background.
• Prior healthcare preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Consult with patients, document medical history and prep for exam.
• Maintain smooth flow of patients to doctor and staff.
• Ensure patients are comfortable with procedures during appointment.
• Learn to use pretest equipment for visual screenings.
• Conduct contact lens training and preliminary testing.
• Collaborate with doctors and team for seamless experience.
