Job summary

MyEyeDr. is seeking an Optometric Technician to support Doctors of Optometry by preparing patients for visits, conducting preliminary tests, and collecting measurements. Training will be provided for those without optical experience.

The role includes weekend and some evening shifts and reports to the Office General Manager, supporting the Doctor(s) directly to deliver a best-in-class patient experience. Join a team focused on high-quality vision care, patient comfort, and seamless office flow

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with ability to perform basic math.
• Personable and patient with patients during screening.
• Detail-oriented and able to work closely with the Optometrist.
• Willingness to learn about the optics industry, products and services.

Responsibilities

• Consult with patients, document conditions and medical history to prep for exam.
• Maintain smooth flow of patients to the Doctor and staff during appointments.
• Ensure patients are comfortable with procedures during visits.
• Learn to use pretest equipment to perform visual screenings.
