Job summary

MyEyeDr. is seeking an Optometric Technician to support Doctors of Optometry by prepping patients for visits, conducting preliminary testing and measurements, and learning to operate pretest equipment. Training will be provided, and some weekend/evening shifts are required to ensure patient care.

No optical experience is necessary; you will receive comprehensive training to help you contribute to a best-in-class patient experience and grow with our team at MyEyeDr.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Consult with patients, document conditions, and chart medical history before exams.
• Maintain smooth patient flow to the doctor and staff during appointments.
• Ensure patients are comfortable with procedures they'll encounter during visits.
• Learn to operate pretest equipment to perform visual screenings.
• Conduct contact lens training for applicable patients and other preliminary testing.
• Collaborate with doctors and team to provide a seamless patient experience.
