Job summary

MyEyeDr. is seeking an Optometric Technician to support Doctors of Optometry by preparing patients for exams, performing preliminary testing, and collecting measurements. Training will be provided, and some weekend and evening shifts are required.

You will help maintain patient flow, ensure comfort during procedures, and collaborate with the doctor and team to deliver a best-in-class experience for our patients. This is a growth-focused, full-time role with training opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Personable, patient, and able to comfort patients during screening.
• Detail-oriented and able to work closely with the optometrist.

Responsibilities

• Consult with patients, document conditions and medical history for exams.
• Maintain smooth flow of patients to the Doctor and staff.
• Ensure patients are comfortable with office procedures and screenings.
• Learn to use pretest equipment for a range of visual screenings.
• Conduct contact lens training for applicable patients.
• Collaborate with doctors and team for a seamless patient experience.
