Job summary

MyEyeDr. is seeking an Optometric Technician to support Doctors of Optometry with preliminary testing and measurements. No optical experience is required as training will be provided to perform pretests and assist during visits.

This role involves ensuring patient comfort, maintaining flow throughout appointments, and collaborating with the care team to deliver a high-quality vision care experience. Weekend/evening shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Assist with pretest equipment and visual screenings.
• Comfort patients during screening process and explain procedures.
• Collaborate with doctors and staff to ensure smooth patient flow.

Responsibilities

• Consult with patients and document medical history for optometrist exam.
• Maintain smooth flow of patients to the Doctor and staff during appointments.
• Learn to use pretest equipment for visual screenings.
• Conduct contact lens training for applicable patients.
