Job summary

MyEyeDr. is seeking an Optometric Technician to support Doctors of Optometry by performing preliminary testing and measurements to prep patients for visits. Training will be provided, and some weekend/evening shifts are required as part of the role.

You will learn to operate pretest equipment, assist with patient education, and contribute to delivering a best-in-class patient experience in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• No optical experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Consult with patients, document medical history and concerns for pre-exam prep.
• Maintain smooth flow of patients to the Doctor and staff during appointments.
• Ensure patient comfort with office procedures encountered during visits.
• Learn to use pretest equipment to perform visual screenings prior to the exam.
• Conduct contact lens training for eligible patients and other preliminary testing.
• Collaborate with doctors and team to deliver a seamless patient experience.
